Layers of Anxiety
Artist Name: Hannah Goforth
Layers of Anxiety

Layered multimedia painting with lungs depicted. My piece shows how trauma affects us by creating anxiety around simple processes, such as breathing. There is a tension and freedom felt within the piece as the layers play off of one another and make it difficult to see the root of all that is going on in the piece.
