Trauma Art Ministires

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me,  Because the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to afflicted;

He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to captives  and freedom to prisoners…

Trauma is debilitating. Domestic violence, sexual abuse, trafficking, verbal abuse, and oppression are all causes of trauma.

It can silence us. We have all witnessed trauma in the pandemic, and it has isolated us.

Our communities for years have witnessed helplessly unanswered racial violence.

We invite you to witness artists’ creative presentations. They give VOICE to the unspeakable, memorialize freedom from a broken heart, and praise to the lovingkindness of our Deliverer, through the mediums of art.

Join your VOICE with others.

VOICE 2022 art exhibit is an opportunity for you to ‘hear’ healing from trauma through the many mediums of the artists. It is an opportunity to learn, support, and encourage healing through Christ from His people who share their lived experience.

We pray you are moved to find healing in Christ who came to set free the oppressed and bind the broken hearted.

Come hear their VOICES.

BOARD MEMBER OF THE WEEK 🥰: Lisa Bergquist -"I’m honored to serve on the board as Treasurer for Trauma Art Ministry. This organization takes a very different approach and has helped me to find myself closer to Christ who loves me. I didn’t understand when this all started two years ago just what a significant impact it would make on one’s life. I can see how it strengthens individual relationships with God."-Thank you, Lisa, for your hard work and dedication to our cause. We appreciate you always!👏#boardmemberoftheweek #nonprofit ... Let's give it up for our member of the week: Mary Landis!👏 Mary is a mother of 3 children who she loves dearly (including twins!) and considers motherhood the adventure of a lifetime. She and her husband have been married for 22 years and are in love to this day! They love to create, DIY, cook, bake, read, study, and cuddle with their two cats. They are self proclaimed nerds who love the Lord and have seen how good He is. -Mary wanted to share the following with you: "Trauma art show for me is a place where I see others seeking healing. I'm not an artist myself, but I love to see the range and depth of feelings in people's healing journey depicted in their art. My youngest daughter is also an artist and through her I have learned how vital art is to her healing and expression. She and I treasure the art show, the awareness of trauma that it brings and the hearts of those involved in developing it."Do you have any questions for Mary? If so, leave them below!-#memberoftheweek #traumaartexhibit #traumaartministries ... See MoreSee Less
